One of the best things about blogging here at Bearfoot Theory is that it’s provided me the opportunity to connect with so many awesome and inspiring people. Recently I was contacted by Taylor Ryan, the fitness guru behind LiftingRevolution.com. On her website she helps people lead healthy lifestyles through fitness and nutrition, and this fall her and her husband are embarking on a whole new adventure. They will be thru-hiking the John Muir Trail…and guess what! They’ve never even been backpacking before. She reached out to see if I would be interested in doing an interview about the JMT for her podcast series, and of course I said yes. It was my first time doing a podcast, and we had a great conversation about trail prep, lessons learned, and tips for having the time of your life out there.
